Are you passionate about public safety and eager to make a difference in our diverse city? We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our multicultural coalition, Chicago Together We Can, dedicated to building stronger, safer, and more connected communities across Chicago. We currently have 10 open positions for Community Volunteer Outreach Specialists who will play a crucial role in promoting community engagement and involvement in public safety initiatives.
As a Community Volunteer Outreach Specialist, you'll work closely with our Community Outreach Manager to develop and maintain relationships with city council members from the wards, community members, business owners, and other stakeholders. Core activities for this role will be to attend community meetings and events, contribute to the development and distribution of informational materials promoting community engagement and participation in community policing workshops. Bring awareness around and collaborate with local organizations and agencies (community services, and community businesses) that embrace public safety as a priority in our city.
We're seeking individuals with a strong background in community outreach, engagement, or organizing, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Our ideal candidates are technologically savvy, have experience with data collection and analysis, and are able to work independently and as part of a team. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred but not required.

Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and talented Advertising\Marketing Executive or Team to volunteer their time or provide pro bono work. The ideal candidate(s) will be skilled in creating and executing advertising campaigns that raise awareness about public safety and our movement, engage the community, and drive action.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement advertising campaigns that promote Chicago Together We Can and its mission
Create engaging and compelling advertising materials for various channels, including social media, print, and digital platforms
Collaborate with our team to develop advertising strategies that align with our goals and target audiences
Analyze and report on the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and make recommendations for improvement
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging advertising platforms to ensure our campaigns remain innovative and effective
Requirements:
Proven experience in advertising, marketing, or a related field
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating and executing advertising campaigns
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Passion for public safety and commitment to making a difference in Chicago communities

Job Description:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for introducing methodologies that balance the needs throughout the software development life cycle. You will monitor the health and track everything happening in all system parts during the software lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include investigating and resolving technical issues, performing root cause analysis for production errors, building tools to improve customer experience, and developing software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
Key Responsibilities
Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) tools
Build tools to improve customer experience
Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
Implement various development, testing, and automation tools
Manage external interfaces
Review, fix, verify, and validate software code and perform root cause analysis
Build automated processes wherever possible
Identify and perform vulnerability assessment and manage incidents
Essential Skills
Skilled, knowledgeable, and capable of automating the entire DevOps pipeline
Adept in coding and scripting, understanding basic programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP, Shell, Node.js, Bash, Ruby, and more
Experience in Linux-based infrastructure
Experience with Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java
Experience with databases such as MySQL, Mongo
Experience with AWS technologies and cloud services
Awareness of Agile principles
Strong ability to connect various application elements, such as libraries, software development kits, and APIs, and integrate other components, such as messaging tools, SQL data management, and other software components, with the help of coding and scripting.

Join Our Multicultural Coalition as a
Community Advisory Council Member
for a Safer Chicago!
Are you passionate about public safety and eager to make a difference in our diverse city? We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our multicultural coalition, Chicago Together We Can, dedicated to building stronger, safer, and more connected communities across Chicago. We currently have (7) open positions for Community Advisory Council. These positions will interface with senior officials within the public safety space. You will play a crucial role in promoting community engagement in the public safety space and setting internal standards to aid in consistent messaging to our external partners.
As a Community Advisory Council Volunteer, you'll establish relationships with strategic partners at the state and local level, elected and non-elected members of the public safety community. You will help assess the feedback from the specialists and propose standards as a means to develop solutions that apply across the city. You will be responsible for salvaging relationships that are crucial in maintaining stability in our outreach efforts and public safety in general. You will assist with special projects as needed from time to time. A major area of effort will be monitoring the 20+ District Council members and the seven person commission (CCPSA), all under the direction of the CEO.
